Welcome to the Java X10 project. The main goal of this project is
to build a simple, reusable, extensible API for bridging X10 hardware modules and
controllers with software-based virtual modules and controllers. Questions or Comments? Email x10@wass.homelinux.net. News6/1/2005Version 1.3 is now available. This release contains some synchronization fixes as well as handling commands across multiple messages. 6/7/2004Version 1.2 is now available. This release contains an addition of shutdown methods to allow explicit control of shutting down a serial port Controller. 6/7/2003Version 1.1 is now available. This release contains support for the CM17A (Firecracker) X10 module. 1/29/2003Version 1.0 is now available. This release is the first official release. Supplementing this release is the source code for all of the classes in the X10 core API. 12/14/2002Beta 0.4 is now available. This release consists of log enhancements. This release has also been elevated to "Beta". This will be the final release before version 1.0. Version 1.0 will contain source code. 11/5/2002Alpha 0.3 is now available. This release consists of a bugfix, documentation changes, and a class rename. This release has also been elevated to "Alpha". 11/4/2002We want to give everyone an idea of where we are, and what to expect from The Java X10 Project. Here is a draft of the current plans for this project. 11/1/2002We've found a flaw in the documentation. The documentation refers to the "Firecracker" module in several places. The "Firecracker" module is a wireless module (CM17A). The Java X10 Project currently only supports the CM11A (wired module). Special thanks to Gary Deckerd for pointing this out to us. 8/18/2002Pre-Alpha 0.2 is now available. This release is primarily a documentation change release. 7/7/2002The Pre-Alpha release is now available. This release is very limited, and is not yet Open Source. The future 1.0 release will be open source. 6/28/2002The second draft of the X10 Core API is available. This version includes basic AWT panels that can be used or extended to create virtual modules and controllers. Appologies for the delay in the first reference implementation. To show interest, ask questions, or make comments, send an email to x10@wass.homelinux.net. 3/30/2002The first draft of the X10 Core API is available. The first reference implementation will be released soon. Links |
